It takes more than physical exercise to maintain good health. Wellness goes far beyond the physical realm, and includes intellectual, social, emotional, spiritual, occupational, and global wellness. The key to leading a healthy lifestyle is maintaining a balance between the various forms of wellness. That is why the Herbert Wellness Center offers a wide variety of classes such as meditation, healthy cooking, smoking cessation and nutrition education, among others. Many of the programs that are offered are free and open to the general public.
The Wellness Suite staff also provides outreach programming, through our Wellness on Demand program, so if your department or student group is having a retreat or weekly meeting, consider a wellness presentation on a topic that will benefit both the department and the individual.
